“IN THE HEART OF THE (HYPOCRITE) BIBLE BELT!”
Racism is alive and well in the heart lands of America! Moving to Oklahoma from my west coast upbringing, has been quite a culture shock for me. The majority of this hate is kept hidden in what some term as "closet racist". They let out little comments when its an all white room! Or a look of disgust comes to their faces from behind the back of a black person. Or the racist undertones of Oklahomas largest news paper, of only two mass publications in all of Oklahoma! Putting the KKK on the front page of their news paper! And the rehashing of how "Oklahoma ran (rebel) red for John McCain! 66% of Oklahoma Did not want a black man in the White House! The gossip at these hypocrite churches, was he's the anti-christ! And people say muslims are fanatics? How does a church or religion get away with saying " love thy neigbor, unless hes black, or muslim, or catholic like Kennedy?
Fear is what I think is the root of the most of this racism! But for sure a great deal has just been handed down generation after generation for one hundred and fifty years! And most of this has been cowaring behind closed and locked doors! The racist jokes at the dinner table by dad!
But fear that someone might be as smart or more athletically superior to ourselves is frightening, after years of telling themselves they were superior, find out their not is a harsh reality! And of course the fear that the worm will complete its turn, and whites will be the slaves?
Anyway you look at it, fear will be the root hatred!
In the Oklahoma City area there is a more in your face type of fear! The interreacial couples! Meaning the White girls dating Black guys! Because the Black girls are dating Black guys too! So the typical White Okie redneck fears they are inferior to the Black man! Phoenix AZ. did not have nearly as many interracial couples as the Oklahoma City area, with probably triple the population! So again it is fear, and the indoctrination of these closet racists go through generation after generation, that keeps hatred alive and kicking! When you have grade school kids saying nasty things, threatning things about a political candidate, you know they picked it up at home from mom and dad! Scary shit in the heartland of America!
The ironic thing is, they truly accept for a short time, the Black athletes on their two top college football teams "O.U. and O.S.U." They never mention the fact that the people they hate, they also cheer on at sporting events!
Well for now I would say "Peace", but who am I kidding?
From the trampled to death employee at Walmart, to the constant state of war and tyrany around the world, who am I kidding?
Tis the season to consume like a good little consumer slave! Buy yourselves five minutes of escape from the real world, and the financial inequality's in the world! How can the CEO's of Fanny and Freddy make 30 million daollars combined incomes! O ne made 18 the other made 12 million a year! And justify paying min. wage to janitors, secretarys, etc...
We need living wages, not slave wages!
We need healthy compitition and not Walmarts!
We need free or affordable health care for all!
We need to abolish the two partys and ban all forms of financial lobbying in politics!
We need change fast before it comes in the form of revolution!
